Do trips require payment?
It depends on the driver. Triply is only an information bridge—we do not require or encourage charging. If a driver asks to split gas, agree on the amount and offline payment method before departure; we do not support online payments.
Does Triply collect or hold payments?
No. Triply only connects people with trip details and contact info. We do not hold funds or provide guarantees. Any cost should be agreed and settled directly between you and your co-traveler.
Do I need real-name or license verification?
Sign-up is email-based today. For safety, ask to see a driver’s license or government ID and meet in a public place before riding. We may add optional verification tiers if abuse increases.
How do I report or block someone?
Use the “Report” entry on a trip detail (or email us if you don’t see it) with the trip link, screenshots, and time. We review and may restrict or ban accounts.
What data does Triply store?
We keep your posted trips/requests, email account, and necessary security logs. We do not collect payment data. Email us if you need your account data removed.
Can the platform guarantee trip safety?
No platform can replace your judgment. Choose partners with clear profiles, confirm identity, vehicle, plate, and costs before riding, keep email/screenshot proof, and stop plus report if anything feels off.
- Meet in public the first time and share your plan with someone you trust.
- Avoid upfront transfers; agree in person on any gas split and acceptable payment method.
- Verify license/ID, plate, and vehicle match the trip description before getting in.
- If you face harassment, discrimination, or fraud, stop interacting and report it.
